Early Head Start

Early Head Start will enroll eligible prenatal parents and families with children ages 0-3. Please print off the application form and fill it out completely.

For an alternative method of receiving or filling out the application form, please contact us at 665-4449.

Along with your completed application, you will need to include a copy of your child's: birth certificate, Immunization record and 2 proofs of your income (tax forms, check stubs, W-2 forms, etc.)

Head Start

Head Start is a national program which provides comprehensive developmental services for America's income-eligible, pre-school children (ages three to five) and social services for their families. Specific services for children focus on education, socio-emotional development, physical and mental health, and nutrition.

What are the options? (Some options not available in all areas)

Center-Based
Monday through Thursday
8:30-3:00
September through May

Free meals
(breakfast, lunch & snack)

2 home visits per year
(1 1/2 hours each)

Combination
2 days per week
8:30-3:00
September through April

Free Meals

Home visits every other week for 32 weeks
(1 1/2 hours each)

Combination 3-1
3 days per week

Home visits weekly for 32 weeks (1 1/2 hours each)

3 hours of classroom socialization every other week for 32 weeks

 
 

All children mush be between the ages of 3 and 5 when enrolled in Head Start. Please print off the application form and fill it out completely.
